The Osprey Relief Foundation is a US veteran-led, global disaster relief, and medical & humanitarian aid non-profit organization, originally founded in 2011 by retired US Army Major General (r) David Grange, and Holly Grange — a veteran and former State Representative of North Carolina.
For many years during mid-2000’s, and prior to starting O.R.F., MG Grange ran the Chicago-based nonprofit, the McCormick Foundation.
Our organization has been back and forth to Ukraine regularly since the full-scale invasion in February 2022 — During which time we have implemented a highly sought-after mobile “Train the Trainer” first-responder course (EMT, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Firefighters, Police, and Border Guards), and have been involved in multiple medical & humanitarian aid initiatives, de-mining, civilian evacuations (adults & children), critical medevac’s - both civilian & military wounded-in-action to hospitals in/around Ukraine.
We have an unwavering support of federal & local Ukrainian government/community efforts; and have been procuring donations & transporting tons of specialized equipment & supplies to the exact “point of need”: hospitals, medical & rehab facilities throughout the country, which has saved countless lives of Ukrainian civilians, defenders, volunteers, and frontline workers.
The Osprey Relief Foundation has also successfully medevac’d dozens of wounded US, Ukrainian, & international defenders, civilians (adults, children & neo-natal), volunteers, and frontline workers to hospitals, surgical, trauma, neuro, prosthetic and rehab centers in/around Ukraine, as well as Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Germany, Israel, the UK and the US, in order to attain the highest levels of specialized critical care - All facilitated by our patient advocate team of medical professionals.
We closely monitor treatment and tailor plans of care/after-care to the injured individuals, coordinate transport and medical logistics, provide security & medical support staff, in-step with physicians & administrators of receiving facilities, while working closely with those respective countries’ embassies, governments, international NGO’s & local nonprofits.
